POLITICS, THE ULTIMATE DISTRACTION!

I am sorry to report that I have lost faith in the entire democratic process as a means to creating a functioning democracy.
It has become a means of winning an election and placing a different set of people in line to dip into the pork barrel, it has nothing to do with changing the lot of the vast majority who have been from time immemorial the wretched of this earth.
The system is, by its very nature, corrupting, and therefore there is always need for someone who can provide the illusion of hope for the people.
Sadly, very sadly, that is the role that Senator Barack Obama is now being shaped to play, he is the new front man for a system that is based on the notion that might is right, that the weak should eternally be called upon to satisfy the needs of the strong, that perpetuates the status quo of five per cent of the people controling ninety per cent of the wealth produced in this country, that pays millions of dollars to athletes who chase balls around stadiums while teachers live from paycheck to paycheck.
The campaign of Senator Obama began to lose momentum when he began to make nice to the power brokers like the Jewish interests and the Cllinton supporters, he has shown that he is just another moth fatally, for the wretched of this earth, attracted to the incandescent lure of political power.
The real change that is required is to destroy the pork barrel and inject morality into politics; to dismantle the system of income tax which is a disincentive to production and productivity.
This system is a major component of coercion based culture under which workers were motivated by the threat of dismissal and wages were kept low.
Change that is meaningful would require that we create open ended systems of reward for all actors in the drama of production.
There needs to be a Constitutional Amendment that requires that the Government spends just what it earns, and not be allowed to borrow from any source to fund its operations.
This would create a free market and destroy the barely concealed monopolies currently enjoyed by the large conglomerates who are the only ones capable of bearing the ever increasing tax burden levied by an inept government with a seemingly insatiable apetite for revenue.
Simultaneously, we need to raise the minimum wage to the equivalent of Ten Dollars per hour, but in a openended system of reward that rewards production and dispense with the hourly rate that rewards time spent on the job.
What I am saying that the resolution of every issue depends on a bare majority in this social system rejecting the notion that might is right and embracing the notion that right is might.
Whether it is healthcare, the high price of oil, global warming, poverty or crime; every one of these problems is a physical manifestation of the notion that might is right.
I believe that the Bush Administration attacked Iraq to create gargantuan profits for Texas Oil Companies for the most part.
The question that is implied in the actions of Senator Clinton and every other citizen of the USA is, can a bare majority of human beings in any social system become moral beings?
Every other issue is dross, every other issue is meaningless, focus on any other issue is a red herring that can only have the effect of perpetuating the status quo.
To save America we must change the man or woman in our mirrors, pointing fingers at Senator Hilary Clinton or believing that Senator Obama is a latter day Messiah will only create the change that Bill Gates et Al wants, no change at all, just cosmetic changes to create the illusion of hope and keep the lid on.
